would require something clear and obvious. Unless a juror came out and said they were tainted, there was nothing clear and obvious (at the end of the day, it is only about those 12). I am a bit surprised he dismissed the two alternatives, but maybe that is procedure.
Also, if he is found not guilty, then no appeal is needed anyways.
