First you say - will convict based alone on guilt or fear.

Those are separate.

Trial is not tainted. Media voices may or many not taint. But the trial is in a court room and is not tainted.

I get the sense that you are laying out defensive posture to a possible, if not likely, guilty verdict. Chauvin's actions contributed to the man's death. Hello. Only thing "tainted" about that is Chauvin's absence of ethics.
