The opinion section of this weekend's Wall Street Journal has a story by Holman W. Jenkins, Jr. about Steven Koonin.
Koonin is a Physicist from Brooklyn with stints at Cal Tech, the Institute for Defense Analyses, JASON (a private group providing classified and unclassifed analysis to federal agencites), BP, the Energy Bioscience Institute at Cal Berkley, and the Obama Department of Enery. Koonin is publishing a book "Unsettled: What Climate Science Tells U, What It Doesn't and Why It Matters".
The story suggests the book will talk about what "could", "should", and "will" happen under various policies and that what "will" happen is a lot less than the "elites, in response to current reward structures, are pretending, will happen".
It would seem that anyone interested in "cliamate change" would be well advised to read the book, regardless of their political leanings.
