The US is much more powerful than Israel or Saudi Arabia.
The governments of both of those countries would be overthrown without the fairly implicit security guarantees made by the US.
Regardless of all deflections put out for propaganda purposes, that basic dynamic is conclusive evidence that Israel and Saudi Arabia are US vassal states. The US uses them to launder some activities that it would prefer not to have its finger prints on, including US domestic political activities.
It is very convienent to be able to say, "we didn't want to do it but the Isreali lobby made us do it" or "we are not funding those evil people" it is wealthy Saudi's that somehow we can't stop.
