apparently doing what he was TOLD to do? Can't believe you keep bringing this up.
HAVING a gun, by itself, does NOT mean a cop is in danger. And even if he may be later, having it in his hand, by itself, does NOT JUSIFY A SHOOTING. If it did, then cops shouldn't even be carrying a simple pistol. Give them an automatic rifle, a dozen clips and let 'em go at it. They see a dangerous looking guy at night, blow his head off.
Cops won't get hurt that way.
