Bingo; Bishop didn't really fit what we needed, albeit, he's a fine player. But lamenting every recruit we don't get, is like crying over every at bat a player doesn't get a hit. If he's a solid player, you can look smart 7 out of 10 times, but that isn't the point. It's never about those 7, but the damage you do the other 3 times. Recruiting is very rarely about who you don't get, just who you do and what you do with them.
