fentanyl OD (plus an underlying heart issue) and that there were no signs that he died from asphyxiation?
The witnesses in the trial testified that his death was "primarily" due to "neck compression", which contradicts the original reports IIRC.
Also, Floyd was saying "I can't breathe" while he was in the cop car, before Chauvin's knee was ever on him, indicating that he was already in the process of dying from an OD.
I can't help but think the medical experts/examiners felt enormous pressure to rule it as a homicide, rather than a drug overdose (due to taking a 3x lethal dose, presumably so the cops wouldn't find it).
