the written document (the Constitution) is the guide

If the Framers intended something different, it should have been incorporated. Hell, they had to immediately amend it 10 times to add the Bill of Rights.

"Originalists" fall back to "intention of the framers" when the Document won't support their position.

Grow up, you amateur attorneys.
