Democratic Party to join Republican Party. George be mad as he is a North LV resident, I believe... if I am correct, you can bet the Georgie Blackface voted for this Dem and is upset at the Party switch

A Nevada mayor announced he is leaving the Democratic Party to join the Republican Party, claiming pervasive socialism and elitism in his former party.
“They had an election recently for leadership, and four of the five people were card-carrying members of the Socialistic Party,” North Las Vegas Mayor John Lee told Fox & Friends on Tuesday morning. “It's not the party that I grew up with 25 years ago in this environment, and it's not the party I can stand with anymore.”
Lee argued that the working class is not part of the conversation in the Democratic Party anymore and that the agenda of the party caters to “socialists” and “elitists.”
“When you're a pro-life Democrat, a pro-gun Democrat, and you're a very conservative person, that's not really well-known in the Democratic Party anymore,” Lee added. “And so for me to hang on as long as I did, hoping the party would change, it didn't, it got worse. So therefore, I found a new place that I can put my allegiance to and help. Once again, forget about the last eight years. It's the next four years that predict the future.”
The recent Democratic leadership election in Nevada Lee referred to took place last month and resulted in several candidates openly affiliated with the Democratic Socialists of America being elected.
Lee, who owned a small business before entering politics, has been floated as a candidate for Nevada governor in 2022 but said recently that though he’s “flattered," he doesn’t want to be distracted from projects he is working on in North Las Vegas.
