So you can stop misrepresenting me in the future.
Those comments by me regarded calls by you to give specifics on how certain market-based aspects of a voluntary society would work. Since a voluntary society eschews central planning, I told you that I couldn't provide those specifics because market goods would arise organically through a free market (as they already have in varying degrees largely based on the amount of intervention by govt regimes). Thus, providing specifics to you would have been akin to defeating the whole idea behind a voluntary society; and since I was furthering the idea of a voluntary society, it wouldn't have been wise for me to also defeat it. Hence, my suggestion was, that instead of demanding how central planning would specifically work in a world without central planning, you should focus on whether the philosophy makes rational sense to you and whether it is worthwhile philosophy to pursue. I also noted the importance of pursuing a consistent liberty-based philosophy as it relates to the Overton Window (which is a term that connotes the acceptable range of political thought in a given society). I brought this up because the byproduct of more and more people subscribing to pure libertarianism would be incremental and actual steps toward liberty today (i.e. the things that you sometimes allege to want).
Here's what I did not say:
* I did not say that only thoughts matter and facts/specifics don't.
* I did not say that specifics don't matter at all (in fact, in the narrow example above, the specifics of the philosophy matter greatly).
* I did not and have not applied my recommendation that you should forget the specifics and focus on the philosophy to anything other than you trying to understand the philosophical foundations of a voluntary society.
If you can't understand the somewhat abstract nature of our previous conversation, then that is one thing. But don't perpetuate that misunderstanding by littering strawmen about what I said in other places on this board.
Okay?
