This year is by far the worst, but he had a decent record in the 3 full prior seasons.

With respect to the midweek loss to kU, they could have gone longer with the starter Lukas Veinbergs but they wanted to make sure he would still be available this weekend in the SEC. Which is the priority. The issue I have is that the 7th inning we were trying to get work for a guy making his collegiate debut and when that went south, we used a guy with a 19.29 ERA who was also needing work. They went to the big guns too late.

Thinking big picture, I am frustrated and unsure how it will play out. He's under contract through 2024 and from what I have read, it would cost $1.2 million to make a change. So we are going to have to ride with Bieser. I'm trying to embrace it and find the positives.
