First, the Assembly and Senate twice worked to remove the order but the governor found ways to try and work around it. At that point we needed a ruling on the constitutionality of what the governor was doing, and that took time. And quite honestly these decisions should take some time. I have no issue with that.
I really don't know of many people who had negative impacts from the mask issue other than being forced to do something they did not wish to and for which there was not controlling authority to do. Most have found ways around it, but now the legal question has been answered.
Again, there is no perfect system. I don't expect one. In this case, the system played out and they got it right.
