who tried to crucify ivanka and trump jr. for every conceived wrong, but lying on a firearms background check is shrugged off as no big deal.

Even worse, heightening the hypocrisy, is many of these same people are screaming for more gun control, yet here is a perfect example of the laws we have in place already not working (and furthermore not being followed by the elite with no repurcussions), and they don't realize that more laws will simply not solve the cultural issues at the root of gun violence.
