but I remember the last 3 or 4 games Baze was missing throws that he had been making all year. Something was noticeably different, and like supertone said, I think it was his hand. More specifically I'm guessing it was the muscle that pulls your thumb up towards the hand to make a C shape grasping the ball. If that muscle was injured or partially torn it would explain why he couldn't grip the ball properly and put as much zing on it.
