Would be the best thing to happen in many years

I have read the constitution many, many times and not once in that document does it assign Congress with any power to regulate education in this country. The 10th Amendment though is rather clear on the topic, it says all rights not granted to the federal government are reserved by the States, or People themselves.

The federal government should get out of the education business. First of all, they suck at it. But mostly they just have no business being involved in it in the first place.

This would be great because when is the last time the federal government actually got smaller? I couldn't think of any off the top of my head.
