until 1985 and Norm had already been coaching for 24 years when that happened. UCLA and several other schools openly cheated during much of that era even worse than they do now.

Put him on a more level playing field with 64 team brackets and he'd have brought home a title. He won the conference regular season 2 times at UNI and 8 at Missouri. That's no small achievement as evidenced by the fact we are 5 coaches and 21 years removed from Norm and haven't won the conference regular season title since.
