Not "several years later". Why can't you be honest?
On April 14, 2014, Missouri received notice of investigation into Haith's cheating. FOUR DAYS LATER, on April 18, Haith was gone. The penalties from his tenure came down on MU on Jan 13, 2016, less than 2 years later.
Haith got out before the penalties came, but they were coming regardless. The AD knew and Haith knew. Thinking there is "zero chance" we would ever be penalized for Haith's violations at MU due to winning that one Florida game is bizarre and unhealthy.
