don't work. This usually is responded to with a link to an "expert" relying on a "study" or even a link directly to the "study".

Then I actually read the "study", unlike the person that linked it, and demonstrate that it wasn't a randomized controlled trial and that the conclusions were indefinite statements about how masks may help.

Masks don't work. The science is on my side. The experts may not be, but that is why science is so important. It is a check against experts.
