Mizzou Football To Host Three Open Spring Practices

Tiger Fans Can Attend Workouts on March 6, 13 & 20.

COLUMBIA, MO.— Mizzou Football fans will have three opportunities to see the 2021 Tigers during spring practice, as second-year Head Coach Eli Drinkwitz announced that the March 6 and 13 practices will be open to all fans, in addition to the March 20 Spring Game. The March 6 and 13 practices are slated to start at 10:30 a.m. on Faurot Field, while the time for the March 20 Spring Game has not been set.

“We believe that this will be a great opportunity for all Mizzou fans to check out the Tigers over the next month as we begin to lay the foundation for the 2021 season,” Drinkwitz said. “We are excited to get on the field with our players and begin to build off last season’s success, and look forward to having our fans in the stands next month to support our players who are working hard in preparation for next season.”

As during the 2020 season, fans attending any of the three open practices will be required to wear face coverings, socially-distance themselves throughout the stadium and tailgating is prohibited. Stadium gates will open at 9:30 a.m. and all fans will need to pick up their tickets for their assigned seating locations at Gate 6W and sit in the West Stadium. In addition, fans will be able to view the South End Zone premium seating areas from 10:40 a.m. until 11:45 a.m. on both March 6 and 13, and members of the Tiger Scholarship Fund staff will be on hand to answer any questions on premium ticketing options.

Additional information for the Tigers’ March 20 Spring Game will be announced once kick off is set.

Note: Due to the NCAA-mandated COVID-19 Dead Period, NCAA rules prohibit Mizzou coaches, staff and student-athletes from interacting with any prospective student-athletes if they are on campus (this includes face-to-face contact, virtual calls, and phone calls).
