This is why the people who bash the Bears for taking Trubisky are wrong. Mitch had better college numbers than Patrick did.
Nobody thought Mahommes would do this, and there are still signs of his erratic play but elite weapons like Hill and Kelce, paired with the best play designer of this era really help him too.
Where are you land matters a ton. A lot of people love Aaron Rodgers and debated the 2005 draft with him and Alex Smith, but if Aaron Rodgers had gone to San Francisco with the poor coaching and the revolving door of offensive coordinators that Smith experienced, his career would not be what it is today.
