They have chosen as a people to go with a single-payer system. Can you agree to let one entity foot all of the bills and then complain when that same entity starts demanding changes?

Before you go off on a tangent my question is about the Canadian system as it actually is today. Not how you believe it should be. Not how Natural Rights are being violated by the current system.

The Canadian people voted for a single-payer system then allowed their leaders to implement the system they have. Why are they surprised that the people in charge of that system are making decisions for them?
