Both Schumacher and Nichols were outstanding closing out the game. Nichols relied almost totally on her breaking pitch. I believe 3 of Nichols outs were on balls hit right back to her. She had really good control.
Kessinger looked best at the plate tonight. She was locked in for every at bat.
