Very few Citizens give a darn as long as it doesn't seem to effect them.
The Parties control who get's nominations and who really get's elected....you know who has the Money backing and support.
So at this point it's almost impossible to change the structure of the Power elites. The Tea party tried to do so but was quickly attacked from all sides and absorbed into the Rep. party.
