Our only wins this year are against the 11th, 12th, and 13th best teams in a 13 team race. Lots of close calls against the better teams in the SEC, just couldn’t close any of those games out.

When was the last time we had 3 players scoring 20+ points in a game? And it was almost 4 players at 20+ with Dufficy scoring 19.

Now it’s on to our last 2 regular season games, Tennessee at home and Miss St on the road. Tennessee was Tennessee today as usual, after beating SC on Thursday night they fall by 2 at Georgia today. Now, Georgia is a really good team, playing their best now, were somewhat surprisingly at #12 in the first selection committee reveal on Monday night, but still, I’m waiting for Tennessee to play its best night in and night out.

Call me crazy but I think we have a chance to keep the game close Thursday and have a shot to win it in the 4th quarter particularly if our outside shooting stays hot. But they have so much more size, talent and athleticism than us it’s not funny.

Miss St lost @ Alabama today, so there is a chance our last game, in Starkville, could be for 9th place in the SEC and a finish in front of Miss St, which did not seem possible.
