....and then there are the Rs themselves. After calling the bluff (?) of the socialists re witnesses, the Ds could call a few who repeat the lies and inconsequential facts that have been stated numerous times all week.

They won't argue the facts, the law and the constitution as much as telling everyone that "Trump is a poopy head".

And then after the Ds have had their witnesses and the Rs will get a turn to call some, the Ds will offer to settle.

In exchange for a not guilty verdict, which will happen anyway, the benevolent tyrants in the socialists party will stop the proceedings um, for the good of the country, in exchange for the Rs agreeing to censure trump for racism, misogyny, malfeasance, corruption, conspiracy, collusion with a foreign power and of course, being a poopy head.

The Rs will jump at the chance.
