The only way black America solves the problems facing

Black America is if successful black Americans, such as this, speak out and continue to speak out until they are heard.
As he said white America cannot fix their problems for them.
The ultimate problem they face is one of perception. Success in black America is most often defined as becoming a music star or professional athlete. All kids across racial divides aspire to this at some point. But when those do not materialize what is the fall back definition of success? For middle America they usually see the next line of success as doctor, lawyer or businessman. Does black America see that as the next line of success or is their fallback something a little darker?
Most of us grew up seeing successful business owners and professionals in our communities, for a kid growing up in the projects who are the success stories around him? Does he see business owners and professionals or does he see drug dealers and gang bangers?
