How many times have you heard comments like "we can take advantage of this to fix ___________".

R's and D's both do this. Never let a good crisis go to waste. What is the result of every crisis? More govt, more regulations.

I'm guessing if the curtain was pulled back regarding Covid and response, most people would want to forget what they saw. Would a degree of what you posted shock me? Not at all. It is a fact people are moving from NY and California to traditionally R states in pretty big numbers.
