A couple observations about the Dems, elections, etc.

First, I think the Dems view the pandemic as the second coming of the Great Depression in terms of the opportunities they will have to institute sweeping government/socialist programs. The big difference being that FDR was a leader and Biden is simply a puppet. Nevertheless, we can all "look forward" to new laws and government programs that make the New Deal look like

Second, one of the reasons why Trump lost the 2020 election centers around the female vote. My theory is that insecure women viewed Trump as a threat, because he was the only candidate with an intact set of balls. The more radical female voters, and even some of the less radical ones, viewed Biden as a pansy-a$$ pushover who could be manipulated by Pelosi, AOC, Harris, Maxine Waters and all the other female Dems who really control that party. And they were/are right.

This is why the Republicans absolutely need to nominate a woman for President in 2024, be is Nikki Haley, Kristi Noem or someone else. Otherwise, the Dems will play the gender/race card to the max and convince all the morons out there that the Republicans are just a bunch of old white guys living in the past.
