1. the gvmt says you are a citizen and that it has jurisdiction over you, and that you are bound to its laws. since we are individual, sovereign beings, what is the evidence for the legitimacy of these claims?
2. if I do not have a right to steal from someone or a right to kill someone that is not in self-defense or in defense of another, and if I can’t give someone those rights, how did gvmt gain these rights?
