I think at some point next season Tyler Macon will be the starting QB. It looked at times, especially toward the end of the season that defenses were taking away the short and intermediate game. CB doesn't seem to have a real strong arm and was aware of it. He didn't attempt many deep routes and gave up on them rather quickly. The patience he seemed to show in the pocket I believe had more to do with him running out of options in the short/intermediate routes. All the reports from Macons' elite 11 performance mentioned his strong arm and he s also a better runner than CB. I think Drink schemed so well to CB's skill set that much of his inability was disguised. I'm not saying tat he can't improve his mechanics, but generally those are set at this stage and it's more of a function of physical ability.
