TSMC is the world’s largest and most advanced chip maker. Various U S entities are heavily invested in it.
If China takes control of Taiwan, it would control our supply of advanced microchips.
China recently violated Taiwan air space with a flight of 15 military aircraft. It has repeatedly sent naval vessels into Taiwanese waters.
A recent news story indicated the U.S. Military intelligence has advised our armed forces would not be able to defeat a Chinese invasion of Taiwan.
This is probably the single greatest danger to our national security.
