Cost of Covid relief

Just looked up some numbers after hearing another number.
US cost to fight WW2 - $4.55 trillion in 2021 dollars. (USA Today puts it at $4.8)
CARES act the first covid package - $2.2 trillion
The paycheck protection plan - $320 billion
They are talking about a package equal to $1.9 trillion now.
Those are pretty amazing figures when you think about it a little.
The entire cost of WW1 (to fight the war) for Russia, The US, Britain and France is estimated at $2.8 trillion. If you add in the Central Powers the figure comes to around $4 trillion.
