D1 isn’t a half bad poll...

The top 10-12 teams are relatively easy to pick usually, with arguments about the exact order. Its roughly 13-25 where the real debate comes in.
Can’t argue with the following teams being top 10:
UCLA (pretty much going to be consensus #1)
Washington
Arizona
Oklahoma
Alabama
Florida
Then you have a group of teams, 4 of which will fill out the top 10 in any legitimate poll:
LSU
ULL
Texas
Ok State
FSU
Maybe Oregon or GA
Then you have everyone else.
The biggest problem I have with the D1 poll is Miss St at #15, ahead of just in the SEC:
Arkansas
Tennessee
SC
Kentucky
Mizzou
They have two stud hitters and a decent pitching staff, but I don’t think they have passed all 5 of those SEC teams below them.
Not to mention programs like Michigan, Baylor, ASU, Minnesota.
Will be interesting when the SEC coaches preseason poll comes out if they are as bullish on Miss St as D1 Softball is.
I doubt it.
