or briefing meetings on the planned protest and only had normal staffing without any days off canceled or holdovers from the previous shift or early call-ins from the next shift.
As someone who has had to work 12+ hour shifts pretty often, or had to work split shifts to cover special events, or who once had vacation canceled due to a goddamn special event, don't pull this bullshìt on me.
