in an interim role, after Steel worked with boosters at Auburn to fire Gus with a huge buyout.... Steele doesn't get the HC job.
Pruitt hires Steele as DC... Pruitt gets canned on massive violations.
Steele ends up as interim HC.... and could be HC... if they don't hire Gus or Lane Kiffin.
