After initial attempts to spin their position fail, it would not be beyond the pale that they may lay low for a while, allow Biden to bumble around (as we saw today) then attempt to crawl back in criticizing the very thing they helped to bring about.
Remember, the stated positions were loud, repetitive and clear. Try as one might, they cannot "mask" their clear trail of posts now that the reality of their earlier stated position manifests itself.
