incredible events. Tears filled my eyes many times today as our spirit was again turned toward the wind, to soar again like the mighty crow searching out its home in the corn.
I love my country, always have. Just knew our rugged, grizzled captain would show us how we will steer the mighty ship of state into a peaceful port away from the rocks of destruction, off a poor course left by our former Captain Queeg. Our vessel rocks on the water, it tosses, it pitches but the wise old salt brings it back home.
A wonderful amalgamation of America takes the co-pilot seat, ready to rescue the captain, with the wise words of a poet with the don't know it magic of words.
We step confidently into tomorrow, with a keen eye on today, knowing our yesterday is but a reminder that the past has become our future, anchored in what once was, can't ever be again but certain to be renewed by the coming remembrance of our former memories of historical change.
