China locked everyone inside and it made things worse

I know a person who works in the home health care field. One of her overnight clients lives in a retirement community. Everything is locked down, screening before anyone can enter, no guests, etc.
They let them leave to be with family over the holidays. One tested positive a few days later, then a couple days after that it was up to four and last time I talked to her it was up to 7.
I know this community/building well as my grandparents lived there for years. I know all the stuff they can do inside the building, dining, etc.... She says its been on lockdown since covid.
Yet its spreading through there because of the recycled air from one unit to the other just like what happened when they welded people inside their apartment complexes in China.
