They’ve been a guard oriented squad for a long time it seems. Right now they have two 5 star rated Guards that are terrific players. Freshman Donarski #14 overall recruit in her class, and junior Ashley Joens (from Iowa City) #19 overall recruit in her class. Some of the other best players are guards too.
They average about 9500 attendance. They’re almost always in the top 5 in attendance.
This helps them attract good players I believe.
Their men’s team usually draws good crowds too.
