There are times where you are like the 2020 cowboys and every offensive lineman, your starting QB and TE are out most of if not the whole year and you could just tank and draft a QB.
As a Dallas fan that was my hope and it wasnt because I dont like Dak. The 40 million could be used to fix the awful defense through the draft AND free agency. But instead they decided to win 4 games after their bye week and ****ed all that up, still ended up a bad team with a top 10 pick just too far outside of QB range unless Fields or Wilson falls. Which wont happen, too many teams need a QB and if one did fall then you take the bag of picks and trade pack 3-15 spots
