thing i found pretty interesting is that the b12 states in general are a freaking wasteland in terms of talent. sure there's texas, which is getting absolutely plundered by the SEC and others, but outside of that there's no real source of talent. Iowa is arguably the next best source of legitimate D1 football recruits. freaking iowa. okalahoma is lucky to produce a handful of prospects every year but most of those leave the state. west virginia can't even list 10 D1 prospects. absolute wasteland.
