Had the dems four years ago refused to get into the petty fights with Trump and engaged him on policy and politics, Trump would have quickly been seen as the sole problem in the play pen. They didn't, they played the game and it gave him four years of fodder to rally his troops.
Now, just as he is leaving office this joke of a rapid fire impeachment and the 10 GOP House members who supported it handed him the platform he will use. Money is already being raised to primary Cheney in 2022.
All he ever wants is a foe to attack. And I'll be damned if time and time again people hand it to him on a stick.
