Beating Texas doesn't get you the cred you want.
Losing to Iowa State and then beating them in the B12 Championship really ties you into where they're ranked considering the scoring margin of both games. That may have hurt you the most. Like us beating and then losing to OU took us out of the Orange Bowl and put KU in.
Beating Oklahoma State doesn't give you enough cred either.
And you beat Florida in a bowl game where they were deflated and thin. A Good win by you but that's post season.
Overall, OU should be happy with it's season. As an OU fan I know you're not but that's your nature.
Mizzou looked like Phineus Fogg burning that steamer crossing the Atlantic trying to get home by day 80. We just ran out of wood but I couldn't be prouder of the boys who stayed and worked together on that team.
