He will be damned if he does and damned if he doesn't, so....
If he doesn't go, he is a boor, a troglodyte, a bad sport and a poopy head. He has broken 5,000 years of tradition and our republic is at risk because of it. We may never recover from this and this is an example of why he was impeached and nobody likes or respects him at all. People will figure that he stayed away so he wouldn't get caught up in all the violence, mayhem and "domestic terrorism" that will follow.
If he goes, he will be the center of attention, not stuttering joe and the skank. It should be the incoming president's day, not the outgoing president's. I do not think that trump will sit this one out in order to allow stuttering joe to bask in the glory of his "victory", stolen though it is. Every move trump makes will be scrutinized, analyzed and memorized. If he raises an eyebrow, wolfsbane blitzer will say he is up to something. Jake tapper will wonder what he is REALLY thinking and ray meadow will assume he is plotting a coup.
If he whispers to melania, the media will say that he is being rude and should pay attention. He is a boor, a troglodyte....
And he rightly feels cheated. He was. He got screwed and he's plssed off. That is not a reason not to attend, but he will have to put up with a lot of shlt from the socialists as they strut about and revel in their ill gotten gains.
Not really sure what he should do. Probably he should go. Not sure.
