Because if those folks had been black the streets would be running with blood.
But disregard at all of the violent protests for the past several years where the "peaceful protestors" were throwing rocks, bricks, bottles, cans, incendiary devices, molotovs and shining harmful lasers in officers' eyes causing blindness in several cases, and shooting commercial-grade fireworks at police, not one person was shot by police.
