Trump should be removed from office immediately

The 25th Amendment would work fine, as would impeachment. Either method, just take the nuclear codes and the pardon power away from this sociopath.

He organized a mob, incited them to riot, and encouraged and incited them to attack the US Capitol at the very moment that Congress was gathering to confirm the count of the the Electoral College votes. This is a solemn and critical moment, essential to the peaceful transfers of power that have distinguished our country for 220 years.

Later, when the very offices of Congress were under attack, he refused requests to order the National Guard to assist. He wanted this destruction and rioting to continue. He did not want it to stop.

His obvious goal was to use his mob to prevent Congress from doing its duty, or to intimidate Congress into ignoring its duty. This is treason, and the Garland Justice Dept. should prosecute him for it. But first, he needs to be removed.
