The highest civilian honor in the country should not be given to athletes, actors, and friends of the president with the same idea logical perspective.
Recipients need to have accomplished something for the nation beyond regular day today politics.
It’s like baseball’s Hall of Fame; it’s not called, “The hall of really good players.”
