We continue down the path of Rapacious Capitalism look for the employees of most major employers to rely on food stamps and welfare to survive in addition to their jobs as Walmart and Amazon while the owners of those companies rake in billions. It's no way to build a prosperous nation.
I grew up in a prosperous nation. Increase taxes on the high elites a ton. Invest in our infrastructure, public transport, education, energy. Lots can be done. Retrofit great old buildings with sustainable energy systems, tighter energy conservation. Jim Carter lights up Plains, GA with one wind farm. We could do that across the country. Point is more of the same will get us more of the same. In the past we did so much better, we can again. FREE COLLEGE - WTF do you the GI Bill basically did?
