He was grounded at the end of his deployment in Europe as a bomber pilot because he was "flak happy". He suffered PTSD from his time flying a bomber and seeing others in his bomb group being killed.

Working on It's A Wonderful Life was actually cathartic and he was displaying actual emotions in many of the scenes.

Please explain why this message is being reported.
