If it's truly a virus we are dealing with, then having the infection and naturally fighting it off is better than the vaccine. There is no scientific basis for giving the vaccine to someone who has already recovered from the viral infection.
Those who take the vaccine unnecessarily take the risk of having an adverse reaction while not getting any benefit.
